There are multiple benefits to using a glass splashback. Glass splashbacks provide a durable, long- lasting and striking reflective surface in all sorts of architectural settings.
Glass provides a large, seamless surface that is easy to clean and maintain. The glass is painted on the reverse giving it a beautiful appearance with an endless list of colours and available finishes to suit your desire.
Glass Splashbacks are an innovative alternative to tiles. Glass Splashbacks can be used in areas where tiles have been traditionally used such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.
However, you are not limited to using glass splashbacks only in kitchen splashbacks or laundry splashbacks … the use of glass is only limited by your imagination. You can have entire walls of coloured glass.
Using laminate technology your selected image will be placed between two sheet of glass that have been custom measured to suit your kitchen.
The process of making sure the image is placed and sized correctly goes through several proofs to make sure you are happy with your image selection.
Not sure of the image to use? We have sample images available to view.
All glass is painted with over 5000 compatible Dulux colours. With a minimum of 4 x coats for standard colours and 7-8 x coats for metallic colours, this covers any imperfections behind the glass installation. Rough walls? No problems.
We guarantee the paint for 8 years from fade and delaminating (separating) from the glass.
We offer a wide range of glass including mirror, textured and photo image transfer. Our glass can be used for both domestic and commercial purposes.
We use either clear glass, which has a natural green tint – good for dark, cool and strong colours, or Super-clear ultra glass which is a low-iron glass. This eliminates the green tint and lends itself to more accurate colour matching for light, warm and bright colours.
Our splashbacks are 6mm thick toughened safety glass, providing a product that is light enough to be handled but strong enough to adhere to all Australian building standards.
As well as being 4-5 times stronger than non-toughened glass, the toughening process also makes the glass resistant to heat, making it suitable for use behind a cook top.
Both glass options are toughened to Australian building standards and are equally strong and durable.
